Between february 17 and 19, i had the chance to train and to accompagny a fabulous and determined group of 22 Climate Heroes with diffrent profiles and cursus during a training session on Citizen Adaptation on Climate Change. The participants have discovered the first day the origine of Sustainable Development and its correct meaning and values since the appearence of the definition in the Brundtland Report in 1987 and even before it.
The second day was devoted to climate change, green house gaz emission and their types, adaptation on climate change, origine of energies and SDG's (Sustainable Development Goals). There was some group reflexion on greenhouse effect and also an exercise on the objectives 7 and 11 of the SDG's.
During the last day, the participants have discovered the meaning of local governance and the tunisian legal framework. They have also seen the link with the climate governance and the advocacy with decision-makers.
The adventure will not stop there because we have planified a hole program for the entire year 2017 with our Climate Heroes.
